One year ago . . . Rumors abound of a secret deal between Luciole Ltd and the Gilded causing the Irregulars to go on strike out of protest of exclusion from bargaining and fear of job security, crippling the city for weeks.
Four year ago . . . Northern settlement attack. A number of Parastin are killed under mysterious circumstances. Reports indicate it is the remnants of beyonders. Since the attack, Parastins have taken to patrolling in pairs as an official Order decree.
Ten years ago . . . Luciole Ltd. hires strike breakers when Irregular workers lobby for a shorter work week (ironically several of the strike breakers were also Irregulars).
Twenty years ago . . . Bāhira archaeologists conduct archaeological digs at the far ends of the former Bāhira empire. Excavations are halted abruptly when the leading archaeologist is poisoned under mysterious circumstances. Several members of the Parastin Order are questioned but never formally charged.
Fifty years ago . . . The Gilded attempt an unsuccessful hostile takeover of the Luciole Ltd. This results in months of public feuds that play out initially via Observer editorials and escalate onto the streets until police intervene when twelve are killed in violence.
One Hundred years ago … Parastins report rumors that the lumenstone which held the Lawgiver’s words has resurfaced. In an exclusive interview with The Observer, one member is quoted as saying the Order is desperate to hear their founder’s words and that “some members of the order are tempted to break their oaths to retrieve it.”
