The assembly lines ground to a halt at Gilded Steel and Cogs in Candlewharf on Tuesday. One of the factory workers, a young upstart named Robert Irons, punched out his foreman with “passionate fervor” for his fellow workers.
The young man began to berate the other managers and foremen for abusing their power, unfair pay and toxic working conditions. The rest of the workers, inspired by his passion, quickly rallied behind the young Irons and ceased the days work.
By Thursday evening, the workers had agreed to return to the line with promises of better pay and change in management. Only time will tell if these promises will be kept.
With one swing, Robert Irons stopped one of the busiest factories and started a genuine labor movement in Auxientia. It’s this humble journalist’s opinion that factories need to be on their guard. Mr. Irons has sparked something within the Irregulars working men and women.
