I signed up because this sounded like a good deal for me. Heck, it seemed like all of the city would want to get in on this. But now? I do not understand what I have gotten myself into. People of Auxientia: be careful what you wish for!
Look, I’ll admit I got greedy and I thought this was a way to get ahead. Boy, was I wrong! They just don’t stop! I don’t think they’re ever going to leave me alone. You should watch out. You think this is on the up and up, but just it’s just like everything else- they are relentless. I am speaking, of course, about the Pie Council of Auxientia. They offer one complimentary slice. And I’ll be the first admit that it was tempting. But they don’t know when to quit! It’s, “come into our shop” here, and “come have a slice” there! Forget it! I’m off pie for good!
