Police Address Link in Recent Explosions

Authorities this morning confirmed their investigations into the recent explosions in Factory Row and the Parastin East Tower may be related and intentional. Auxientia Police however declined to name any suspects or whether the explosions are related to the mayor’s meeting between the five factions of Auxientia, “We are still investigating, we now have a person of interest, and we believe we are on the right track to solving this. Justice is coming. That is all we can say for now,” said officer Constance Prescott. The two explosions have caused fear and wild speculation amongst the citizens of Auxientia. The

EAST TOWER EXPLOSION!

A massive explosion tore through the Thoir Tower at dawn this morning, ripping through a section of archives and part of a reading room at what should have been a safe haven for the knowledge and wisdom that has been gathered at that location by the Parastin Order. Fortunately, it seems the explosion was confined and contained to a section that had been set aside for various factories and corporations to keep employment, financial, and other business records. Other than a smell of smoke, the other areas of the tower appear to be unaffected (yes, dear readers, the first printing

Wyvern Flies at the Wisteria Theatre

The Wisteria Theater located comfortably in the Gardens district positively buzzed with excitement over the evening’s festivities as the crowd eagerly awaited the mounting of the opera of the classic novel “I Went Where the Wyvern Fly.” Produced with the blessing of the esteemed author Ms. Henrietta Lynx, the author herself held a prized seat in one of the box seats, keeping the company of Ms. Hyacinth Disraeli, who also marked herself in attendance. The audience eagerly watched the pair for their reaction, splitting the attention between the wonders on stage with their glittering appearance. Funded by a grant from

Gossip

The mayor’s oh-so-secretive meeting is fast approaching and I’ve got some fresh whisperings, dear readers! It seems some Bāhira were overhead at a mine! They’re planning to bring in a chest FULL of lumenstones to the mayor’s meeting as their bargaining chip. And that’s not all, dear readers! Those Bāhira plan to divide the lumenstones up among the Parastins, Irregulars, and Luciole Ltd. The Bāhira plan to exclude… the Gilded! Our purple, flowered, faction friends already have a small stockpile of lumenstones and that is what is getting them left out in the cold. Scandalous! Those Bāhira are curious what

EXPLOSION AT LUCIOLE FACTORY! FACTION LEADER INJURED!

In the pitch of night, the sky was alight in the late hours from the flames of an explosion in Factory Row. The buildings nearby suffered little damage, but large parts of the assembly line toppled along with the whole of the offices on the top floor, where an explosive was believed to have been placed. Among the injured pulled from the blast, the leader of the Luciole, Janeway Tinker, who was reported to have been making an unscheduled check-in on her factory off hours. Tinker’s condition is currently critical at the Rose of Hope Medical Center.

Irregular Leader Organizes Strike!

Robert Irons has organized a walk out of workers at the Chariot du Ciel Luciole Factory in the Gearworks district of Rivetville. The steel workers’ strike halted the production lines on the frames and motors for luxury personal airships that are very popular in some upper class circles.  Factory owners were quick to start organizing themselves to try and set up negotiations with Irons. As deadlines fast approach for upcoming orders, the risk of losing money, clientele, and the city’s trust in their products is high.  Albert Felts, a foreman at the factory, offered his opinion on the matter. “This

Vandalism at Jam’ mā Community Hall

Police are still investigating, but according to three anonymous sources connected to the hall, an intruder is believed to have broken in through a fanlight, an illegal means of entry termed “fanlight jumping” in some Irregular circles. Jam’ mā Community Hall serves as a meeting place for several social clubs and houses many of the city’s more obscure historical items.  A quick inventory of the hall’s artifacts suggests that the vandalism may have been restricted to a single unpublished manuscript considered taboo by the Bāhira, entitled Wyverns of Auxientia: Sacred Passages Filled with Wisdom, by Śikṣaka. According to one source,
