Luciole Ltd.’s Behavioral Research Team announced that the much anticipated Lightning Bug Ball is to be held once again at the Hive. This year, the organizers will provide archetype masks for attendees to disguise themselves: the Explorer, the Founder, the Healer, the Scholar, the Clockwork Dandy, and the Pugilist.
The masquerade ball activities include, but are not limited to: The Game of Hard Truths, Scavenger Hunt, Talkin’ Fans, Sharing of Sweet Treats & Refreshments, Poetry Corner, Guess Who I Am, Trivia Contest, and, of course, Dancing.
The Luciole Behavioral Research Team shall be in attendance to officiate the night’s revelries and assist in Match negotiations. Should any citizens consensually opt in for something more than just Match, Bilhanna of the Bāhira faction will be available to officiate relationship negotiations. All Auxientians, be they platonic friends or those wishing for more intimate relationships, are invited to participate, negotiate, or simply observe in whatever way they see fit.
When asked why the Lightning Bug Ball is being held yet again, a member of the Behavioral Research Team was quoted as saying, “It’s for science. Please go about your dancing.”
In regards to the Match activities, another member of the Behavioral Research Team said, “Enjoy your poetry. Or don’t. We’re not here to skew results.”
Invitations to the Lightning Bug Ball may be obtained at the Gilded Wyvern the night before the event.
