At check-in, you will get a few things. The main items we use for mechanics are colored lanyards to signify physical roleplay comfort, and a name tag with your faction, character name, PC’s pronouns, your in-real-life (IRL) name, and IRL pronouns (if they differ from your PC pronouns) on it. Lanyards are to be worn around the neck with the name tag in front at all times. NPCs are designated by a silver crest pin, emblazoned with the letters “NPC.” Any PT or other helpers are designated by wearing all black clothing when they are observing as their neutral “reporter” for The Auxientia Observer.
There may be missions and plot points in which you may have “blood,” dirt, or “oil” on you. These are all body safe, and have been pretested on Plot Team before use. If you do not feel comfortable with these things, please tell your NPC beforehand and we can make sure you do not get in the splash zone!
Hunting, looting, and scavenging are a part of this game. If you are unsure if you can take something, ask an NPC or Plot Team. If it’s in the world you can most likely look through, but we want to make sure we do not break props.
Occasionally, a player may be given a prop that was specific to their narrative (gift giving is our love language). If you are at all unsure, please be sure to ask your lead designer if a prop needs to be returned.
